Texas Airboat Association

I'm starting a thread to keep you posted on upcoming Trailblazer Adventure days in Texas. They are outdoor youth events designed to introduce youth and their families to the outdoors.

We would be very exciting to add airboating to this years activities/presentations for the events.

At this point in the scheduling process for 2009 I can go ahead and give you the dates for 2 events.

March 14 -- Athens, TX
March 14 -- Rio Hondo, TX (Harlingen)

There could be more to come as we progress through the 2009....I'll keep you posted.

I'm still looking for some participation for the upcoming event in Rio Hondo. It would be great if we could start getting the same great support from the TX Airboaters as we do from the people in FL.

In 2008 they attended all 4 of our Trailblazer events and it has been a great success introducing the youth and their families to airboating, bowfishing, gator hunting, water rescue and wildlife conservation.

The date for the Rio Hondo, TX (Harlingen) event has been bumped to the 21st due to facility conflicts.
