Postby hfw258 on Fri Jun 27, 2008 4:45 am

Have a dixie, 1985 air boat, radiator is below motor, I put a chevy 350 in it, and it's over heating, does anyone know what is wrong. It has a good radiator and there is no air pockets in water. Thanks Hank

Thermostat

Try a 140 deg. thermostat to try and slow the water down. More than likely water moving too fast through the radiator not having a chance for air across the coils to cool it
