Rusty McDaniel has been gracious enough to allow us to use his place for the 1st TAA Airboat meeting on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Rusty's place is across the river from Riverside Park, so everyone can use the park to launch their boat & park their tow vehicle & trailer. :D

Here's the link to Lake Whitney & Riverside Park is listed as C3 and is at the bottom of the map.
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/lakes/whitney/access.phtml
C3: Riverside Park
Located off Texas 22 below the dam

Rusty said that he has plenty of pecan trees at his place & has also offered to host a cookout so everyone will need to bring their lawn chairs and ice chest along with their best stories, lies and embellished half truths. This looks to be a great way to kick off the TAA & a great place to run. The Brazos River airboater community is a great group of folks & they maintain a very friendly atmosphere. Also, Rusty is going to invite the local GW.

An e-mail has also been sent to everyone on the TAA e-mail list.

Rusty it looks like we have another great mind on the forum... we need to be sure that CULTURED REDNECK is elected beverage director... the Spetzles would be proud to know that we Texirican's don't drink any of that cissy beer
